Specifications for Residential Pickup in A-G-L Service Area:
Garbage must be placed in A-G-L provided cart. Carts are the property of A-G-L Solid Waste Disposal Authority.
Place cart curbside or county right of way by 6:00 A.M. on your collection day
Residents must maintain the cleanliness of their cart. It is recommended that you bag all waste to help maintain cleanliness. Please do not overload these carts or put hot ashes, liquids, or other materials that could damage it. If it is damaged beyond repair, the resident will be held responsible and must pay the cost of replacement.
Carts are available in only 95 gallon size.
This department observes 8 major holidays. New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day. Please put can out on normal service day even on Holiday weeks.
Collectors will not go on private property, (Disabled persons that qualify for back door pickup must have proper forms recorded with AGLSWDA).
